Dripping A
DDripping A marks the beginning of an exploration into movement, spontaneity, and letting go.
Rather than controlling every mark, I allowed the paint to move freely across the canvas, watching as gravity created unexpected shapes, paths, and intersections. The process became as important as the finished work—a practice of observing rather than directing, and discovering beauty in what I could not completely control.
Created during a period when everyday life felt confined and uncertain, the act of making became a form of release. Each drip offered movement where there was stillness and possibility where there was limitation.
Dripping A began that conversation with creative freedom, one that would continue in its companion piece, Dripping B. Together, the works remind me that sometimes resilience begins by releasing control and allowing something unexpected to emerge.
